The program's features are grouped into the categories below.
Statistics
The heart of LeaguePad is its statistics engine. The following statistics features are grouped according to who or what they apply to.
Statistics are made up with ranking of teams, players, referees, scoring trends and patterns, summary of global league data and much more.
Team statistics
- League table: Home, away, overall, between specific dates or round numbers, last 30 days...
- Alternate league table: shows team ranking based on an alternate league table point system
- Configurable league table: order of columns, colors, columns title abbreviations...
- League table by Match group: "Group A", "Group B", etc.
- Offense: goals scored: 1st half/2nd half, scoring averages and frequencies
- Defense: goals conceded: 1st half/2nd half, conceding averages and frequencies
- "Extra-time" league table: takes only into account goals scored/conceded in added/extra time
- "Team scores first" league table: to view teams ability to hold on to a result
- "Opponent scores first" league table: to view teams ability to come back when trailing
- "Winning at half-time" league table
- "Losing at half-time" league table
- Penalties: taken, scored, taken by opponent, scored by opponent
- Shots: on goal, on post, wide, shot accuracy
- Fouls: committed, suffered, cards, fouls per card
- Corners: for, against, corner goals, corners per goal
- Outcomes: percentage of wins, draw and losses
- Own-goals: own-goals for, own-goals against
- Nationalities: national and foreign players, totals and averages
- Player ages: youngest, oldest, average
- Outcome record: graphical view of current form
- Track record: points won and aggregate score against each opponent
- Type of goals scored
- Averages and summaries of assists, cards, players on loan, attendance...
- Points evolution graph (to compare track records of up to 4 teams in the same graph)
- Team events: one league table per type of event (for example: "2nd yellow cards table")
- Custom stats: one league table per user-defined statistic
Player statistics
- Scorers table: total goals, percentage home/away, type of goals
- Matches played: entire matches played, substitutions, Man of the Match...
- Match-by-match statistics (goals, card, substitutions, player rating...) in each match
- Cards: yellow, 2nd yellow and direct red cards
- Penalties: scored, missed, saved
- Assists
- Analysis of goals scored: total, at home, away, in percentage of the team's total, per match

Scoring

- Most frequent scores: occurences and percentages
- Type of goals: normal, free-kick, corner, penalty, own-goal
- Scoring times: globaly by 15 min.
- Goals for/against by team: goals scored and conceded during each 15 min
- Goals per position by team: goals scored by defenders, midfields and forwards
- Clean sheet by team: number and percentage of matches with no goal conceded
- Fail to score by team: number and percentage of matches with no goal scored

Predictions
Result predictions reflect LeaguePad's interpretation of the teams' strenghts, based on the match results that have been saved in the league file.
You can switch between 4 predictions methods and automatically calculate which method works best for each type of predicted match.
Prediction on a single match

Queries
Queries are some of the most powerful features in LeaguePad. Defining queries allows to perform advanced searches on
matches, players and events. There are many different combination of criteria that can be used to perform precise searches.
Queries that you define can be saved, which will make them selectable in one click along with the pre-defined statistics.
Match searches
- Search matches by home/away teams, goals scored, outcome, match status, date, etc.
- Possibility to save each defined query.
- Query example: "List of matches where Arsenal won away and scored more than 2 goals"
- Other example: "List of matches with an attendance higher than 50,000 and where the home team won"
Player searches
- Search players by team, position, nationality, name, notes, date of birth, etc.
- Possibility to save each defined query.
- Query example: "List of argentinian defenders born after 1975"
- Other example: "List of players from Manchester United with 'Yes' in the Notes field"
Event searches
- Search events by team, type of event, specific event, event minute, home/away, etc.
